Unfortunately we will be unable to undertake Ear Piercing at our Wymondham Branch until the end of September. Our Diss branch will be piercing as normal.

We are committed to making sure your ear piercing experience is the best it can be by providing the safest, most technologically-advanced ear piercing system available.

Our system safely & quickly pierces ears in 3 EASY STEPS using a gentle, hand-pressured instrument and sterile, pre-sealed, hypoallergenic piercing earrings.

Ear Piercing Eligibility & Medical Considerations

  • Minimum Age: Ear piercing is available for individuals aged 8 years and older.
  • Parental Consent: Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Medical Conditions That May Prevent Piercing

In some cases, we may be unable to proceed with a piercing due to health-related risks. If you have any of the conditions listed below, please bring a doctor’s note confirming it is safe for you to be pierced.

Please note: Some medical practices may charge a fee for providing such documentation.

Conditions requiring medical clearance:

  • Diabetes
  • Epilepsy
  • Hepatitis
  • HIV
  • Haemophilia
  • Frequent dizziness or fainting
  • Use of blood-thinning medication
  • Pregnancy
  • Skin disorders or infections
  • Recent surgeries or major operations

Local Restrictions – Piercing Site Concerns

Piercing may not be possible in certain areas of the ear if any of the following are present:

  • Warts or moles
  • Broken or inflamed skin
  • Scar tissue or keloids (small, firm lumps under the skin)
  • Eczema
  • Psoriasis
